In the heart of Soho, the iconic Groucho Club hosted an evening where fashion, literature and personal storytelling converged as part of the London Fashion Week presented by 1664 Blanc (LFW) takeover of the venue. Copenhagen-based footwear label VINNY's and London design studio Forestalgia came together to present an intimate panel discussion featuring acclaimed writer, producer, director and artist Jeymes Samuel.
As an official highlight of London Fashion Week, the event explored the theme of The Art of Shared Listening, inviting guests to reflect on the transformative power of literature and the stories that shape us. Drawing inspiration from the panellists' most cherished books, the conversation unfolded through thoughtful discussion, personal reflections and creative insight.
At the centre of the evening was Jeymes Samuel, who captivated guests with vivid recollections from his childhood, sharing the literary influences that informed his creative vision and artistic journey. Through a series of engaging anecdotes, Samuel illustrated the profound role storytelling has played in shaping his work across fi lm, music and literature.
The event also marked the live debut of the VINNY's Readers Club, an initiative dedicated to fostering a culture of reading, reflection and meaningful dialogue. To commemorate the occasion, guests received a limited-edition cap designed collaboratively by VINNY's and Forestalgia, created as a celebration of curiosity, creativity and the spirit of shared discovery.
